Hugo Anché

Born in the city of Tijuana, Mexico and raised in San Diego, California. Hugo Anché is a versatile vocalist,  pianist, and arranger whose vocal style and vocal improvisation is reminiscent of Al Jarreau, Frank  Sinatra, and many other jazz legends. A lover and performer of vibrant and abundant types of music that include Soul, Neo Soul, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Samba, Flamenco, Boleros, Jazz, and Afro Peruvian music. He finds beauty in the various music of different cultures and is infatuated with world music as a form of inspiration to create original music of his own. Besides singing Anché is a songwriter who finds insight in the lyrical writing of people such as Ruben Blades, Billy Joel, Joao Gilberto, and Chabuca Granda.
